Who is the AI? The party game
The daily game, at your table. Works in a group chat too. Needs one phone with a chatbot and a few friends.
Setup
- 3 to 8 players, plus one host per round (take turns).
- A group chat, or paper and a hat.
- Any chatbot on the host's phone.
How to play
- The host reads out a prompt (below).
- Everyone writes a short answer and sends it privately to the host.
- The host asks the chatbot: "Answer this like a [age] person texting a friend, under 15 words: [prompt]".
- The host shares all answers in a random order, the AI's included.
- Everyone votes for the one they think the AI wrote.
Scoring
- +2 for voting for the AI.
- +1 for every vote your own answer gets (you were mistaken for the bot, which is funny).
- +3 to the host if nobody spots the AI.
Prompts that work
- What's the worst thing you've eaten this year?
- Describe your morning in five words.
- What would your pet say about you?
- What's a hill you'd die on?
- Invent a new word and say what it means.
- What's 17 × 23? No phones.

Solo? There's a round every day
Who Is a Bot? is the one-player version: two real people, one AI, and you pick four questions.
Questions
How many people do you need?
Three or more is best. With two, take turns as host and guess between your answer and the AI's.
How do I make the AI harder to spot?
Ask it for short, casual answers with lowercase and no punctuation, and give it a persona close to your group.
