Privacy
Last updated 26 October 2026. In plain words.
What is saved
- A random ID made by your browser and kept in its storage, so your games and streak can be kept. It is not your name.
- Your games: which questions you asked in each round and who you accused.
- Answers you write as a suspect, if you choose to. They are shown to other players without your name.
- Usage events, for example "asked a question" or "accused a suspect", with the browser and device type and the page that linked you here, so we can see what makes the game fun.
Signing in and emails
You don't need an account. If you sign in with Google, we also keep your name, email address and profile picture, so your games follow you to other devices. We then email you from [email protected] after answers you wrote have been played, and occasionally a reminder if you stop playing. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and there's a switch on your account card. We never send marketing for anything else. If you're under 13, please don't use the site.
Who processes it
- Our own server, which stores the games, answers and, if you signed in, your account.
- OpenAI, which writes the bot's answers. To help it sound like players, it is shown a few answers players wrote as suspects (the answers only, never who wrote them).
- Our analytics (our own statistics server and Mixpanel), which receive the usage events. Your name and email go only to Mixpanel's user profile, if you signed in.
- Brevo, which sends the emails, only if you signed in.
- Google, only if you sign in with Google.
We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Deleting your data
Clearing this site's data in your browser starts you over with a new ID. To delete a signed-in account, its games and any answers you wrote, email [email protected] from the address you signed in with.
